Well unless the users paid for the images already (which most won't), they can't post them. I don't think much harm will be done if you include the wiki for paid_content to deter the few people who might screw it up.

When making wiki pages for artists, should I include links to their paysites (such as Fanbox and Patreon)?
The way I see it, doing this might lead to some users supporting the artist (which would be good), but it could also lead to users thinking it's ok to upload images from these sites (which would be not so good).

When it's part of a list of links, I doubt many people would think it's okay. Now if it was the only links for the artist they might, but even in that case they'll learn quickly once they have an upload deleted. Either way it's not going to hurt the artist.

Are the correct tags for the background of post #5862866 (safe) as follows: two-tone_background; white_background & simple_background (for the outer background); and patterned_background, gradient_background, grey_background, and blue_background (for the inner background)?

This feels like too many background tags, but I also feel like they are, correct me if I'm wrong, all justified.

I would say no. Use white_border. That is not a white background or a simple background.

Agreed, the real background is the black -> blue two-tone patterned section, the white is just a border.

question : why is the tag "dedicatory" an author tag when it is used for images that are dedicated to someone?
wouldn't it be better to be a General tag?

No telling how it happened. It was a long time ago.
