We're lacking in the dicks department
Posted on: 02/23/21 04:15PM

So, I'm just going to say it, we're weirdly have a lacking of tags on specific penis types, which is kind of necessary as that's the only way to consistently find them. We need at least:

A "bumpy_penis" wiki entry for when a cock has those odd warts, "pleasure bumps", or have beads artificially inserted for stimulation.

A "barbed_penis", for those little sharp, flexible barbs types cats usually have.

"Studded_penis" is a thing, but it has no wiki entry and seems to be a combination of the aforementioned to and probably be associated with a series of penile piercings.

A "medial_ring" tag for those little flesh rings the horses tend to have.

A "fat_cock" for when the dick is wide at the base or bulges in the middle that narrows into a finer point.

A "prehensile_penis" for when the dick moves in fantastical ways, usually zigzagging.

A "tentacle_penis" for when a tentacle is shaped like a cock.

Either a "glowing_penis" or "glowing_cumshot" for when it illuminates from inside or the dark. Preferably both.

An "odd_cum" for when the penile spit clearly isn't typical baby batter.

And "penile_replacement", for when the dick is something else on the crotch that's actually attached physiologically attached on said groin.

Edit: Also, how does one apply to garden?

Edit 2: Oh yes, and "sentient_penis" for when the "think with your dick" phrase becomes literal and it's talking/has thought bubbles.

Edit: And a "musk" tag, for when something clearly smells strong.

penis_pearls
penis_piercing/prince_albert + ring
glowing_cum
smell

Many of these tags exist and you can make a wiki for any tag. If there is a specific general tag you want that we don't have just ask for it and we may approve it.

fat_cock will not be approved. Thick_penis is deprecated. May need to think of something else that fits other tagging patterns.
Prosthetic_penis may be allowed in place of penile_replacement.
The admin decides who becomes a staff gardener, any one who tags regularly is a non-staff gardener.

Oh, I could have sworn I had to get special permission to make a wiki entry. Good to know.

Penis_pearls: it's barely used compared to "bumpy_penis" and who would think to search that? It's some specific!

Smell: Yeah, I dropped the ball on that one. I thought that was for stuff like, "sniffing".

Prosthetic_penis: Good idea, it's alliterative.

Edit: fat_penis, maybe?

Edit2: I'll make a wiki entry after I finally get some sleep.

You have to click "Create" in the top-left corner of the main wiki page to make a new wiki. Doing it from a "? tag" will not work.

nekomushi & nekomu_shi are the same artist and need to be merged.

I accidentally added blue to an image and noticed the wiki entry says it's ambiguous, do not use. Should the color tags be set as deprecated, so that people know to remove them without checking the wiki?

Where is the line for tags with the format [color]_[object] drawn?
I.e., should I use tags like "white_curtains" (70 posts) or "red_carpet" (268 posts), or are tags like those needlessly specific?

I would call those optional. Any information that can help someone find a post is not pointless. As long as a tag is not subjective and can't be searched using another tag or set of tags then it may be allowed.

As for where to draw the line; We may ask you to use a pool instead if the tag applies to fewer than a page of results. We get most of our tags and tagging policies from Danbooru so if a general tag is used on Danbooru (and is not one user's pet tag used on only a few posts) we will usually allow it here. If Danbooru does not use it then we likely won't either though this sometimes does happen.

This applies only to general tags. Artist, copyright and character tags can have as few as one result as long as there is not another tag for that same artist, copyright or character. Note that, from Danbooru, it is common to see an artist with two tags, we've fixed many of these but are always fixing more.
