Why was the erect_nipples tag removed?

Then what are you supposed to use for non-covered erect nipples? I did a quick search and people are using it for non-covered erect nipples anyway, which doesnt make sense because it seems like its specifically for covered erect nipples...

according to zapdos (and presumably danbooru) no such thing exists. all uncovered nipples apparently look erect. look into puffy_nipples, but know that it's not the same thing.

You could use 'nipple_erection' instead but thats mainly used for animation

The tag higashikata_josuke appears as deprecated, but there seems to be no tag replacement for that character.

Looks like it should be higashikata_jousuke that is deprecated. It is aliased to higashikata_josuke so it shouldn't matter in the grand scheme of things.

I'm going to change that.

Edit: They were both marked as deprecated. I've changed higashikata_josuke back into a character tag.
