I'm into soft vore and came here to help spread awareness about it. What's preventing people from discovering it, is that soft vore is often mixed in with hard vore. The hard stuff can be a bit too extreme and off putting to most people. So I decided to help by labeling the soft stuff from the hard, so it can be more easily found and enjoyed. Along the way I created many different tags that I thought were appropriate at the time. Recently, all of my created tags have been deleted. I'll go ahead and discuss some of those tags here. Maybe you'll like some of them so they can be reinstated.
snip
I hope that I can at least get some of these tags back. Most of them are useful for tagging soft vore art.
Many of the tags you're suggesting are redundant with each other or with existing tags. Please be aware that we only use
one tag to describe a certain thing. If two tags are extremely close an meaning, they will usually be combined into one larger tag,
especially if it's only relevant to a niche audience.
These tags are redundant with each other: about_to_be_eaten about_to_be_swallowed before_swallowing dangling_by_feet dropping_in_mouth
For all of these, "imminent_vore" is sufficient.
These tags are redundant with each other: desperate_miniboy desperate_not_to_be_eaten forced_down forced_to_be_swallowed imminent_digestion struggling_not_to_be_swallowed
For all of these, "forced" is sufficient.
These tags are redundant with each other: accidental_digestion apathetic_digestion becoming_nutrients describing_digestion digestion_acknowledgement
digestion_satisfaction enjoying_digestion imminent_digestion indicate_being_digested indicate_digestion indicate_imminent_digestion indifferent_digestion partially_digested pleasurable_digestion sleep_digestion digesting_boy digesting_brother digesting_girl digesting_person
For all of these, "digestion" is sufficient.
These tags are redundant with each other: after_swallowing apathetic_vore betrayal_vore eating_your_friends family_vore naive_vore punishment_vore remorseless_vore vore_curiosity vore_display savoring
For all of these, "vore" is sufficient.
"child_awareness" would violate our
tag what you see policy. A character's awareness is not something that can be visibly seen in the image, so it cannot be used as a tag. If there are visual elements in an image that lead you to a conclusion about a character's awareness, tag those individually instead.
"carefree_child" also violates this same policy. In this case, children would normally be assumed to be carefree
by default, so the lack of tags that indicate otherwise are sufficient. Remember that there are no limits to the length of your search query.
"childhood_friend" is likewise something that violates the tag what you see policy.
desperation: why is this simple tag crossed out? Sankaku Complex uses it.
We are not Sankaku Complex.
"empty_mouth" - empty is the default state a mouth is expected to be in. Simply use "open_mouth" and the lack of tags for stuff that would be filling the mouth ("eating", "fellatio", etc) do what you're trying to do here. "Presenting Empty Mouth" is also problematic for the same reason.
"filming_vore" is redundant with just "filming". We do not need tags for specific things being filmed. Tagging what's happening in the image is sufficient.
The following tags are redundant with each other: food_coma food_drunk
Once again, we cannot tag a character's emotional state. Tag the features that make them look like they're in a "food coma" or they're "food drunk" instead.
"stomach_acid" itself isn't a problem, but the way you're defining it is. If we are going to implement a "stomach_acid" or "gastric_juice" tag, it will be used for
all instances where stomach acid is present in an image - including vomit and guro.
"grabbing_uvula" is borderline. I would expect the tags "grabbing" and "uvula" used together to be sufficient, since it's the only grabby thing someone in that situation would have, but if a sufficient use case were shown, I could see this one being used. You will need to create and populate a pool of these posts before we can approve this tag so we know how many posts we can expect the tag to" be used on.
"gokyun" collides with an existing tag, "gokkun", which is used specifically for swallowing semen. We cannot use both of these tags at the same time as users will mix them up and it will cause lots of confusion both ways.
"guilty_pleasure" also fails the tag-what-you-see requirement.
"glomp" might seem on the surface to be a good idea for a tag, but there are
endless sound effects, and creating tags for all of them is a fool's errand. Instead, we just use "sound_effects" for all of them.
"hotto" and "sukkuri" are both redundant with "sigh". If there's an English term for something, it will be preferred over a Japanese term.
"ingestion_analgesia" is another tag-what-you-see thing. Tag the features that make a character look like they're in this state instead. The same goes for "post_meal_relief", "post_meal_satisfaction", and "post_swallow_satisfaction".
inside_mouth, inside_stomach & inside_throat : we have an inside_creature tag. I wanted to have tags that would specify where inside the creature. Whether inside the mouth, throat, or stomach.
If enough of a use case for these can be established, these could potentially be approved, but that will once again need to be shown by creating and populating pools. Until we have enough data showing the usefulness of theset tags, "inside_creature" will be enough.
The following tags are redundant with each other: just_once once_in_a_lifetime only_chance
In the context of vore, eating and digesting someone being an irreversible action that can only be done once is assumed by default. There is no need to tag it separately. Outside of the context of vore, this is too broad and nebulous to be useful as a tag.
"only_food" - This seems more suitable for a pool.
"peeking_inside_mouth" seems like it wouldn't have enough of a use case to be made into a tag. You might be better off making a pool if you want a collection of images featuring this.
pitiful_end: a little different than bad_end in that that the person ends in a pitiful way. For instance, a college student might have worked very hard to pass his classes and become successful, only to wind up being digested in the belly of a hungry young woman, who only considers him as food.
I see where you're coming from with this, but "bad_end" already covers this. We generally do not split tags unless it's absolutely necessary, and in this case, the "bad_end" tag doesnt' have enough posts to be split.
"postprandial_sleep" - The way you've described this describes two separate things that should be tagged separately. Thankfully, both already exist: "sleepy" and "sleeping".
"salivating" - Just use "saliva". If it's leaking from the mouth, use "drooling".
"sleep_digestion" - this should just be "digestion" and "sleeping" used together.
stomach_growling: borborygmi could be an alternate.
You will need to choose one of these in particular, and create a pool to demonstrate that it's worthwhile to split off from "sound_effects".
"squick" is a subjective tag. We do not allow subjective tags.
you_are_next: this is when it is implied that the viewer is the next victim of whatever has taken place.
This is what the tag "fourth_wall" is for. Anything more specific than that is more suited to being a pool.
