[TAG PROPOSALS] New Tags for Soft Vore
Posted on: 04/09/21 06:43AM

I'm into soft vore and came here to help spread awareness about it. What's preventing people from discovering it, is that soft vore is often mixed in with hard vore. The hard stuff can be a bit too extreme and off putting to most people. So I decided to help by labeling the soft stuff from the hard, so it can be more easily found and enjoyed. Along the way I created many different tags that I thought were appropriate at the time. Recently, all of my created tags have been deleted. I'll go ahead and discuss some of those tags here. Maybe you'll like some of them so they can be reinstated.

about_to_be_eaten: this is when one character is going eat another, but hasn't yet. Many "imminent" tags already exist, such as imminent sex. For vore, we definitely need a tag for when someone is about to be eaten, as it will be depicted often.

about_to_be_swallowed: perhaps it's not apparent that a character will be devoured, but they'll probably be sallowed.

accidental_digestion: when a character did not intend to digest another.

accidental_vore: when someone was vored by accident. Maybe they were shot into the air, and humorously found themselves inside of someone else's mouth.

after_swallowing: when someone has already swallowed.

apathetic_digestion: the character doesn't care for or consider what they are digesting.

apathetic_vore: when a character vores another without having any consideration for them. They are like an object for their vore enjoyment.

assisted_vore: when another character helps someone else vore somebody. They can also be the one who vores that somebody.

becoming_nutrients: when a character is becoming someone else's nutrients.

before_swallowing: depicts a character before they are swallowed.

betrayal_vore: many times in the soft vore genre, someone close will be swallowed and digested, like a friend or family member. The person is betrayed by someone they trust, because that someone's emotions and desires are too strong.

borborygmi: this a special word that describes the sounds that your stomach will make.

child_awareness: when a character has the awareness of a child. Usually it's because they are a child. They don't understand or notice things the way an adult does. To keep this tag from being used on every image with a chilf, I suggest that it only be used when the the character's childlike awareness is apparent or important to what is being depicted.

carefree_child: someone who acts like a carefree child. They have no worries in the world, and thus, don't care for or consider the things that adults would. Also, they don't take on many responsibilities, if any.

childhood_friend: If two characters were childhood friends. With all of those animes that include romances between two childhood friends, this tag definitely needs to exist.

dangling_by_feet: when someone is being dangled by they're feet. You can't simply put feet + dangling to to find these images.

describing_digestion: when someone is talking about their digestion. In soft vore, there will be characters who will describe how they are digesting another person, to that person. Usually because its fun or arousing for them.

desperate_miniboy: probably desperate for his life.

desperate_not_to_be_eaten: they don't want to be eaten and are desperately trying to avoid it. Look at Karbo's work and you'll see a lot of this.

desperation: why is this simple tag crossed out? Sankaku Complex uses it.

digesting_boy: this will specify that a boy is being digested. Some people are uncomfortable seeing girls digested.

digesting_brother: my personal preference for who is being digested. Either that, or a close friend.

digesting_girl: some people prefer seeing a girl in peril.

digesting_person: a catch all if you want to see someone living being digested, vs something like food.

digestion_acknowledgement: when someone in the image acknowledges the fact that digestion is occurring. "I'm digesting you." Or "I'm being digested!".

digestion_satisfaction: being satisfied with whatever they've digested.

displaying_food: showing off your food. In soft vore, a person might enjoy be showing off who or what they are about to swallow.

dropped_in_mouth: dropped in a mouth to be vored. Usually after being picked up.

dropping_in_mouth: in the process of being dropped into someone's mouth.

eating_your_friends: in soft vore, a character will sometimes witness their own friend being swallowed whole and eaten right in front of them. Usually the swallower does this on purpose to be cruel.

empty_mouth: an empty mouth waiting to be filled, or recently emptied.

enjoying_digestion: the process of digestion can feel good. This tag is for those images that depict that.

family_vore: an incest tag for vore. Vore is not necessarily sexual. An incest tag would not be appropriate.

filming_vore: For people who want to save a video of their cherished vore moments.

food_coma: passing out from eating that good food. Like turkey.

food_drunk: some people will behave a little drunk after a good meal.

forced_down: forcing someone in a downward direction. For vore, it would be down someone's throat. This tag can have a wide range of uses.

forced_to_be_swallowed: the person didn't accept being swallowed, and had to be forced.

gastric_juice: either this, or stomach_acid. When someone is covered in those nasty fluids.

grabbing_uvula: a uvula is something you can grab onto when you are trying not to get swallowed.

gokyun: onomatopoeia for swallowing. I put sound effect tags when the Japanese was written. Imagine how nice it would be to be able to search by sound effect.

guilty_pleasure: when your food choice is a "guilty pleasure".

glomp: when the glomp sound effect was written.

helpless_miniboy: the miniboy is at someone else's mercy. There's really nothing he can do.

helplessly_watching: when someone witnesses something terrible, but can't do anything about it.

hotto: a believe it is a sigh of satisfaction. Sukkuri is another version.

imminent_digestion: when someone is about to be digested. Again, we have these "imminent" tags already. There is no reason why we can't have one for digestion.

indicate_being_digested: pointing out that their victim is going to be digested.

indicate_digestion: pointing out their digestion in general.

indicate_imminent_digestion: pointing out that their victim will soon be be digested.

indifferent_digestion: an alternate for apathetic digestion, if you like it better.

ingestion_analgesia: that good feeling you get after eating.

inside_mouth, inside_stomach & inside_throat : we have an inside_creature tag. I wanted to have tags that would specify where inside the creature. Whether inside the mouth, throat, or stomach.

just_once: Can only be done one time. For example, a little sister can only eat her big brother once in her life. Once he's digested, he's gone forever.

legs_first: for vore, we need to be able to specify which direction the person is being vored in. Are they going in legs first, with the head going last, or headfirst? Each direction has its own feel to it. We already have a tag for going headfirst, but we didn't have one for legs first. Arguably more important, because the person will probably be shown struggling to get out that way. They're fear and desperation can be seen on their face as they go down.

listening_to_stomach: good for when they force their victim to listen to their stomach before they are swallowed. Or perhaps they could enjoy the sounds they're stomach is making while its digesting their food.

miniboy_pov: we have many pov tags. I don't see why we can't have one for the small guy being swallowed.

minigirl_pov: one for the girls too.

moving_around_in_mouth: they could be moved around with someone's tongue while their being played with or tasted, or moving around on their own.

naive_vore: when the person voring doesn't understand the extent of what they are doing. They might swallow their victims with the intent of digesting them, without fully comprehending what that person will have to endure.

on_tongue: when a character is on a tongue. Their tongue might be sticking out, so they wouldn't necessarily be inside their mouth.

once_in_a_lifetime: in alternate for the just_once tag. it can only be done once in a lifetime.

only_chance: this is the only chance the person will get. Maybe they've always dreamed to do something, and they get this rare opportunity to do it. For soft vore, it would probably be the chance to swallow someone because they suddenly became tiny.

only_food: When someone is only seen as food to a hungry individual. K0kag3 likes to explore this concept in their work.

over_mouth: when a person is over someone else's mouth. Probably because they are about to be vored.

partially_digested: part of their body has already been digested. The rest will soon follow.

peeking_inside_mouth: what do you have inside there?

pitiful_end: a little different than bad_end in that that the person ends in a pitiful way. For instance, a college student might have worked very hard to pass his classes and become successful, only to wind up being digested in the belly of a hungry young woman, who only considers him as food.

pleasurable_digestion: an alternative for the enjoying_digestion tag that I proposed above.

pleasure_when_swallowing: when it feels good to swallow something, or someone.

post_meal_relief: that relief you get after
eating when you were hungry. It's nice when your hunger is gone.
post_meal_satisfaction : an alternate for ingestion_analgesia. See above.

post_swallow_satisfaction: probably felt good to have swallowed that something.

postprandial_sleep: wanting to take a nap after eating, or taking a nap because you are full.

Presenting Empty Mouth: for those times when a character shows off they had just emptied the contents of their mouth by swallowing. "Look, I actually swallowed him."

punishment_vore: many characters in vore stories discover they have a thing for vore after they swallow someone as a punishment.

remorseless_vore: they don't care if their victim doesn't want to be swallowed or digested. It's probably more fun that way.

salivating: you salivate when you are about to eat something or are thinking about food. Vore characters are no exception. You'll see them salivating profusely right before they put their victim's in their mouths.

satisfied_face: the face a character makes after they've been satisfied. A "That was good" kind of face, like you'd give after a meal.

savoring: really enjoying your meal. Not eating it too quickly. It's not just sustenance, it's pleasure!

sleep_after_eating: an alternate for postprandial_sleep. See above.

sleep_digestion: soft vore being soft, it tends to skip the gore and horrifying aspects of digesting a human being. A common way to do this, is to have the character digest while they are asleep. The next morning, it will be over.

stomach_acid: either this tag or gastric_juice. We really need this one.

stomach_growling: borborygmi could be an alternate.

struggling_not_to_be_swallowed: this happens a lot in soft vore. Victims don't want to be swallowed, and will desperately attempt to survive. Look at Karbo's work to understand why a tag like this would be useful.

struggling_to_swallow: when a person won't quite go down. Maybe their too big, or maybe they just won't give up.

squick: sort of a sickening feeling you get when viewing vore and art like it.

sucking_in: they can't escape because they're being sucked in.

sukkuri: a sigh of satisfaction, I believe.

swallowed_by_accident: perhaps they are exploring some oral vore with a willing participant, but they accidentally swallowed them.

swallowing_before_and_after: we get to see who is going to be swallowed, then after they're gone.

swallowing_display: swallowing for show.

swishing: like you'd do with mouth wash. It's apart of the vore play.

tasting: flavor is apart of the enjoyment.

vore_curiosity: When the character is curious about an aspect of vore. "I wonder if I could swallow you?"

vore_display: sharing the vore experience.

witnessing_vore: someone is seeing someone else be vored.

you_are_next: this is when it is implied that the viewer is the next victim of whatever has taken place.

I hope that I can at least get some of these tags back. Most of them are useful for tagging soft vore art.

Hi, I frequently add tags to images but since I use Tor, Google Captcha always give me at least 6 or 7 challenges to solve before letting me edit (sometimes I can't edit at all). Have you ever considered a system that would let user edit tags without captcha once they've proven not to be a bot or malicious? That or switching to a less problematic captcha service (hCaptcha comes to mind)

Yes, and we already have a system like that implemented.

I hope that I can at least get some of these tags back. Most of them are useful for tagging soft vore art.

Many of the tags you're suggesting are redundant with each other or with existing tags. Please be aware that we only use one tag to describe a certain thing. If two tags are extremely close an meaning, they will usually be combined into one larger tag, especially if it's only relevant to a niche audience.

These tags are redundant with each other: about_to_be_eaten about_to_be_swallowed before_swallowing dangling_by_feet dropping_in_mouth

For all of these, "imminent_vore" is sufficient.

These tags are redundant with each other: desperate_miniboy desperate_not_to_be_eaten forced_down forced_to_be_swallowed imminent_digestion struggling_not_to_be_swallowed

For all of these, "forced" is sufficient.

These tags are redundant with each other: accidental_digestion apathetic_digestion becoming_nutrients describing_digestion digestion_acknowledgement
digestion_satisfaction enjoying_digestion imminent_digestion indicate_being_digested indicate_digestion indicate_imminent_digestion indifferent_digestion partially_digested pleasurable_digestion sleep_digestion digesting_boy digesting_brother digesting_girl digesting_person

For all of these, "digestion" is sufficient.

These tags are redundant with each other: after_swallowing apathetic_vore betrayal_vore eating_your_friends family_vore naive_vore punishment_vore remorseless_vore vore_curiosity vore_display savoring

For all of these, "vore" is sufficient.

"child_awareness" would violate our tag what you see policy. A character's awareness is not something that can be visibly seen in the image, so it cannot be used as a tag. If there are visual elements in an image that lead you to a conclusion about a character's awareness, tag those individually instead.

"carefree_child" also violates this same policy. In this case, children would normally be assumed to be carefree by default, so the lack of tags that indicate otherwise are sufficient. Remember that there are no limits to the length of your search query.

"childhood_friend" is likewise something that violates the tag what you see policy.

desperation: why is this simple tag crossed out? Sankaku Complex uses it.

We are not Sankaku Complex.

"empty_mouth" - empty is the default state a mouth is expected to be in. Simply use "open_mouth" and the lack of tags for stuff that would be filling the mouth ("eating", "fellatio", etc) do what you're trying to do here. "Presenting Empty Mouth" is also problematic for the same reason.

"filming_vore" is redundant with just "filming". We do not need tags for specific things being filmed. Tagging what's happening in the image is sufficient.

The following tags are redundant with each other: food_coma food_drunk

Once again, we cannot tag a character's emotional state. Tag the features that make them look like they're in a "food coma" or they're "food drunk" instead.

"stomach_acid" itself isn't a problem, but the way you're defining it is. If we are going to implement a "stomach_acid" or "gastric_juice" tag, it will be used for all instances where stomach acid is present in an image - including vomit and guro.

"grabbing_uvula" is borderline. I would expect the tags "grabbing" and "uvula" used together to be sufficient, since it's the only grabby thing someone in that situation would have, but if a sufficient use case were shown, I could see this one being used. You will need to create and populate a pool of these posts before we can approve this tag so we know how many posts we can expect the tag to" be used on.

"gokyun" collides with an existing tag, "gokkun", which is used specifically for swallowing semen. We cannot use both of these tags at the same time as users will mix them up and it will cause lots of confusion both ways.

"guilty_pleasure" also fails the tag-what-you-see requirement.

"glomp" might seem on the surface to be a good idea for a tag, but there are endless sound effects, and creating tags for all of them is a fool's errand. Instead, we just use "sound_effects" for all of them.

"hotto" and "sukkuri" are both redundant with "sigh". If there's an English term for something, it will be preferred over a Japanese term.

"ingestion_analgesia" is another tag-what-you-see thing. Tag the features that make a character look like they're in this state instead. The same goes for "post_meal_relief", "post_meal_satisfaction", and "post_swallow_satisfaction".

inside_mouth, inside_stomach & inside_throat : we have an inside_creature tag. I wanted to have tags that would specify where inside the creature. Whether inside the mouth, throat, or stomach.

If enough of a use case for these can be established, these could potentially be approved, but that will once again need to be shown by creating and populating pools. Until we have enough data showing the usefulness of theset tags, "inside_creature" will be enough.

The following tags are redundant with each other: just_once once_in_a_lifetime only_chance

In the context of vore, eating and digesting someone being an irreversible action that can only be done once is assumed by default. There is no need to tag it separately. Outside of the context of vore, this is too broad and nebulous to be useful as a tag.

"only_food" - This seems more suitable for a pool.

"peeking_inside_mouth" seems like it wouldn't have enough of a use case to be made into a tag. You might be better off making a pool if you want a collection of images featuring this.

pitiful_end: a little different than bad_end in that that the person ends in a pitiful way. For instance, a college student might have worked very hard to pass his classes and become successful, only to wind up being digested in the belly of a hungry young woman, who only considers him as food.

I see where you're coming from with this, but "bad_end" already covers this. We generally do not split tags unless it's absolutely necessary, and in this case, the "bad_end" tag doesnt' have enough posts to be split.

"postprandial_sleep" - The way you've described this describes two separate things that should be tagged separately. Thankfully, both already exist: "sleepy" and "sleeping".

"salivating" - Just use "saliva". If it's leaking from the mouth, use "drooling".

"sleep_digestion" - this should just be "digestion" and "sleeping" used together.

stomach_growling: borborygmi could be an alternate.

You will need to choose one of these in particular, and create a pool to demonstrate that it's worthwhile to split off from "sound_effects".

"squick" is a subjective tag. We do not allow subjective tags.

you_are_next: this is when it is implied that the viewer is the next victim of whatever has taken place.

This is what the tag "fourth_wall" is for. Anything more specific than that is more suited to being a pool.

Pools For Soft Vore Tags
Posted on: 04/09/21 03:59PM

Alright, I'll create pools for the tags you said were acceptable. I'll show you guys how useful they can be.

Also,
most of the images I tagged with childhood_friend were do to me having previous knowledge outside the image to know two characters were childhood friends. But I guess that's not how tagging is done here. However, I would like point out that the first reason I created the tag was because a character in an image literally states that someone was a childhood friend. What about instances like that? Is there an existing tag for it?

A link to that image:
