Pokémon tagging is confusingPosted on: 02/02/12 03:11PM
First question: Are we getting rid of the "leaf_(pokemon)" tag? It makes sense to do so since it's a fan name, but I want this cleared because I have seen someone swapping it for "blue_(pokemon)" but I'm not sure if it's official change or not so I don't know how to tag.
Second, why getting rid of the "hibiki_(pokemon)" when Hibiki is the official name of the game character? Gold is the name of the character in Pokémon Special, and if we are removing Hibiki in favour of Gold then why keep both "ruby_(pokemon)/yuuki_(pokemon", "diamond_(pokemon)/kouki_(pokemon)", etc. tags? There are way more Hibiki and Gold pictures than of those other protagonists so having it split helps everything stay organized. We even have "silver_(pokemon)/black_(pokemon_golden_boys)" and tags for Red counterparts considered minor like "satoshi_(zensho)", shuu_(get_da_ze!), akai_isamu_(pokemon). It's really weird that you would favour fan names like Leaf but cut out official ones.
And lastly, the tags "red_(pokemon)_(clasic), green_(pokemon)_(classic) and leaf_(pokemon)_(clasic) aren't helping at all, specially Red one since mostly pictures tagged like this are pictures of Pixiv Red and the Leaf one because it actually should say Blue.
