Someone's software or the alias must have bugged it.

I wish there was an easier to way to find images that "formerly had a tag" over the past few days.

It would have been useful for situations like this.

It should be possible to add an attribute to a tag which indicates that when it's searched for, its wiki page should be displayed instead of the normal search results.

That would cover ambiguous tags and decommissioned tags, and fill in for the alias system while it's not 100% functional.

If somebody searched for several flagged tags at once, they could be given a page of wiki links.
Search: asuka cute futa_on_female
"You have searched for one or more flagged tags. The tags may be ambiguous or disused. Please see the following wiki pages:"

Would need a ?redirect=no option for when you need to check how many pages of images have piled up under a tag anyway and audit trail on tag attribute setting. If non-mods can flag a tag, it would be necessary to lock the attribute on certain tags.

(Also, futa_on_female doesn't exist in the aliases, to the extent that the entries with green backgrounds are still pending approval.)

YES
FINALLY SOMEONE ASKED ABOUT THIS IN THE FORUMS

I can finally sleep well tonight.

These tags don't exist in the hard aliases list because we generally consider hard aliases to be permanent. Instead, as with most tag changes, we perform a soft alias using a moderator-only mass tagging tool.
