I can look at pics just fine if I get them directly like off of google or something but clicking posts or typing anything into the search bar doesn't show anything up, they aren't blank or anything just not registering.

To answer your question yes I can see it and if I disable adblock plus on this site I get the thumbs fine......just kinda annoying.

Please do not block Gelbooru's ads. Gelbooru cannot run without the money they generate.
In any case, I just re-enabled AdBlock Plus on the site to check whether it would block thumbnails, and it didn't. It's possible that you accidentally added our thumbnail server to your AdBlock Plus block list, or that you added a third-party list to your AdBlock Plus which blocks Gelbooru thumbnails.
