curious about a tag
Posted on: 03/20/12 06:21PM

i've seen two types of clothes so far, that i havent a clue what tag they'd fall under, or if they even have tags.

first, the top shown in this pic. www.gelbooru.com/index.ph...amp;s=view&id=1162502

second, the top from this one. www.gelbooru.com/index.ph...amp;s=view&id=1334579

the second, if ye look close, isnt a typical 'school uniform' shirt, as it doesnt go down past the tits. shirts like that, i wouldnt even know how to search for pics with those kinda shirts. the 'half-length' ones.

and, that first pic's outfit? well, it could be a kimono, might not be, hard for me to say, since im not exactly an expert on clothes.

The first looks like Wa_Lolita (maybe) and I guess the second one counts as "midriff".

hmm. maybe on the first one. and definite no on the second one because what if that kind of shirt is over top a longer shirt? 'midriff' wouldnt apply then, would it?

How about "halterneck" or "halter_top"?

halterneck, from what i saw after just checking, doesnt always cut off just above the midriff. and i saw another tag already, 'crop_top', that looks similar to halter_top. under crop_top tho i didnt see any pics where the 'crop' top was layered over a non-crop top.

still got no idea how one would begin to describe the outfit in the first pic.

Have you seen the short_yukata or short_kimono tags?

actually now that i have, that outfit seems part wa_lolita, part short_yukata. perhaps both tags apply here?

It might also be a "Haori". (I'm not really an expert in such things.)

mm, its definately closer to a short yukata than a haori. also someone went and tagged that pic 'short_kimono' recently. like, in the past 10 minutes or so, somewhere. but it seems like its not just a kimono, so wa_lolita tag could be fit on there too.

and if we wanted a tag for combos of short_something and skirts, maybe skirted_kimono, skirted_yukata, etc? they wouldnt be used often i bet, but every little bit helps, true?
