I consider that the flaw, it seems arbitrarily limiting. It's like how the IRS audits you for under paying AND over paying taxes, and proceeds to make paying the government as complicated as possible.
Also, if it's supposed to encourage people to comment then the whole plan is flawed; the people who don't comment much won't notice, while the people who comment frequently will get frustrated and go elsewhere.

Quite a few of us pretty much do nothing BUT comment, BigStudBen and LivingCorpse are the first two off the top of my head. That was quite typical once upon a time, to the point I'm not sure if we had a forum early on.

My thing is more that 99% of comments are either a variant of LARPing pedo retards spewing alleged knowledge of prepubescent female physiology/phychology or "Hmnnnggg girl hot hnng *drool*" and I usually feel theres nothing worth contributing to those conversations.

Beyond UOOOOOHHHHHH!! what kind of comments on Gelbooru can you possibly expect? There is nothing to discuss. It's a still image and there is never any backstory posted. All you can comment is how the image makes you feel and that's usually "aroused". I believe we had this discussion before.
