I like when the shounen never gives up, and even when it seems like all hope is lost, he always somehow manages to make it through by using sheer determination.

Strangely, shōjo protagonists tend to face more tragedy and hardship, I guess because Japan wants girls to grow up to be submissive housewives or something.

It's largely because mahou shoujo started out with shows having a monster-of-the-day format and that's never really gone away entirely. Shounen seems to go for bigger fights that are built up to over time, and then it takes months and months for the entire thing to be shown.

^Same, my favorite being the spirals in the lenses, like Umino from Sailor Moon.

I've always liked that too, it works so well. The puckered eyes when someone's glasses are removed are kind of funny, too.

I actually am glad to see most old anime tropes go, but I occasionally miss them.
Double blinking, falling over (one of the annoying ones), and fountain tears come to mind.
I also miss yooooooooooo, but I think all of these are still used occasionally but have largely faded out of popularity.
I grew up in an era where these tropes were used in almost every anime, sometimes every episode, or multiple times per episode.

Pretty much any that were used on Teen Titans were mostly the annoying ones, I've noticed. (throbbing vein, big head mode, sudden chibi art style, etc)

I'll grant it did it better than most shows.

Its power of true friendship. I will write fiction about it in the future. I think nowadays in literature using many clishes and its not so interesting for readers. But I am bad at writing and used help of writingcheap.com/write-my-essay-for-me-cheap.html during my college life. But I want to improve my writing skills in the future.

How are you going about improving?

The friendship stuff is among my favorite too, done well. When it's botched, liked Naruto and Sasuke, it's like having hair torn out of your head.
