It's called swastika. And yeah, the armbind reminds at the swastika-armbind by the nazis, so I think it's okay to leave the tag.

Actually the Japanese Army used armbands too, for certain squads and divisions. (I'm a history geek lol)
I've also heard some instances where modern Japanese schoolgirls have red armbands to denote some sort of after-school (not nazi) club. But I suspect, due to the B-29s in the picture, that it's more to do with the 1st thing I said than the 2nd.
