well it's possible but the hat might need to be removed as well for that to happen anon#1. normally in movies and what not the talisman seal or control them and iirc in the legends if they lose their hats they lose all reason.

okay, I understand that Jiangshi translates to stiff corpse so this chick could either be a subspecies of zombie or vampire I have no idea because in the legend it resembles a zombie, but behaves like a vampire sucking blood and only going out during night time.
