I like to think they are using this time to keep people interested while panning out finer details for future ideas. If that means I've gotta sit through a few retold episodes with added filler, well, I've waited this damn long. What's a few episodes between old friends? Welcome back, Dragon Ball. The VA for King Kai Joji Yanami, and he's 84 years old. I'd imagine it be too much strain on his voice to do it like he used to after all these years.

They did the voice actor is sick and cant do the role. It takes alot for Japan to change a voice actor so he must have become pretty bad off I hope he is ok. In Japan they typically show more loyalty and respect to there talent.

Ah, well that makes sense. Thanks all, did not know about the VA issue. For his age, then, it's pretty amazing to still be in the business and I'm glad he felt healthy enough to jump back on board. Doesn't change my opinion of the vocal quality, but I have a deeper respect for what goes in to it. ^_^
