To be fair. Given that Ash is based on the default male protagonist in Sun/Moon and aside from Iris, all the female protagonists from former seasons return for a 2 part mini-event. Its possible Serena could return dressed in her Alolan inspired attire based on the female protagonist. Maybe catch an Alolan Sandscrew and add it to her team.
