They are still looking for someone to invest in it. For some insane reason no one has come up to bat despite the amazing proof of concept trailer, hence why there was no film for the big guys 50th anniversary. It's not right, a lot of people might not like Godzilla: Final Wars but at least he got a film for his big five-oh, Gamera didn't even get that.
