Anon, its only discrimination if you call a real person a "trap". Why? Because "trap" is a term that was used to refer to characters specifically drawn in a way that would lead people to think they are of a certain gender, when they're another, thus "trapping" the person. It is meant to challenge people's perceptions of what is a "girl" and a "boy" when it comes to anime/manga art. Therefore, "Trap" is, or was originally, an affectionate term, not an offensive one. And also calling a real person a "trap" makes no sense for the same reason.

For the 1,000,000th time, "trap" comes from early 2000s 4chan memes. People would sneak pictures of Bridget into "anime girl" threads to trick ostensibly-straight /b/tards into posting that they were attracted to a boy. Other /b/tards would attempt to warn them by posting pictures of Admiral Ackbar and saying "It's a trap!" That's literally all there is to it. Put down your gender-studies degrees.
