| Summary: | Some options are not saved to account |
| Description: | I'm not sure whether this is intentional, so I'm filing it as a bug for now. I haven't tested all options, but for example "Show Comments" is saved to my account, so when I log out, even with cleared cookies, when I log in the options is as I set it (off, not the default value of on). But others like "Dark Mode" and "Display all site content" are not saved, I always have to set them manually again after logging in. If this is known/intentional, this is a request for these options to be saved to the account and not only to cookies. |

| This is intentional. We might save the dark mode setting to your account at some point, but the Display All Site Content will not be. Users who want the same setting across all their devices only need to change it once per device and it's done, but many users only want that enabled on certain devices. Saving it to the account would force these users to change it every time they *switch* devices - which could be many times per day. These users are far more inconvenienced by the setting being saved server-side than users who want the same setting across all devices are by it being client-side. |
