He is a supporting character from RWBY and debuts in the Black trailer. Although he is absent from the main series until the end of the second season. He is the leader of the notorious Faunus terrorist group White Fang and is responsible for the group's increasingly violent turn. He wields a katana that is kept inside a shotgun/sheath, which he can use as a regular shotgun, a way to shoot his katana at enemies, or use it to perform superhumanly fast sword slashes. His katana is special in that it can override and pierce through others' Aura, making it more lethal than other weapons in the series. He has a complicated relationship with Blake Belladonna who once willingly followed him, but turned against him once he showed his willingness to allow innocent people to die in his quest for Faunus rights. Thanks to this experience, Blake has some difficulty in trusting and opening up to others, but she gradually opens up to her teammates. He is reluctantly working with Cinder on her plan to cause chaos in the Huntsman world and get the full powers of the secret Fall Maiden Amber. After Cinder got half of Amber's powers, she forced Adam and the White Fang to work with her even though she and her henchmen are not Faunus and have no interest in promoting Faunus rights. He reunites with Blake in Volume 3 Chapter 10 during the Grimm invasion of Beacon. He has not taken Blake's betrayal well, revealing himself to be extremely possessive of her, and declares that he will destroy everything Blake holds dear as retaliation, and to prove his point, he cuts off one of Yang's arms.
