Now Viewing: crazy_taxiTag type: Copyright A Sega arcade driving game. The original game debuted in 1999. The player plays as one of a few taxi drivers and his/her job is to pick up customers and take them where they want to go like taxi drivers do in the real world. The game, however, lives up to its title in that not only does the player escort the customer to his/her desired location, but the player also earns more money by doing so stylishly. In this game, performing impressive and getting away with dangerous stunts with the taxi makes for a more satisfied customer. The player is also on a constant time limit with two timers that s/he must pay attention too. There is a timer on the top left of the screen and he player must pick up as many customers as possible before the timer runs out, picking up a customer adds a little more time to this time. When the player is taking the customer to his/her destination, a timer appears above the customer's head; the player must reach the destination before this timer runs out or else the customer will abandon the player. The cities the games take place in aren't named but they are modeled after various large cities in the United States. However, the games reference real life stores/restaurants like Burger King and FILA. The games don't have original soundtracks and instead use music by rock bands like The Offspring.
