The Hiburi-class wear a white_dress short_sleeves sailor_dress with blue sailor_collar and accents, along with a sailor_hat, white_legwear socks, and uwabaki. Their rigging is carried via a shoulder strap, and depth charges are strapped to their thighs. Daitou herself has short_hair bob_cut-like black_hair with a high_ponytail at the back that is not obvious from the front and sidelocks, and greenish blue_eyes. Unlike her sister Hiburi_(Kantai_Collection), Daitou is very energetic and eager to battle, somewhat like her near-lookalike Miyuki_(Kantai_Collection) but a bit rowdier. She messes around a lot and has to have her sister look after her. Her historic namesake was launched in June 1944 and was quickly worked up and soon set to work escorting convoys. She survived several sub and air attacks to be still intact when Japan surrendered. She worked post-war as a minesweeper and struck a mine in the Tsushima Straits in November 1945, breaking in two.
