Her magical girl form is Cure_Blossom. She is a shy and awkward girl who desperately wants to change herself. Although she initially does not get along with Erika, the two of them become friends after Tsubomi becomes Cure Blossom and rescues Erika. While Tsubomi often seems timid, she has a strong sense of justice and compassion and as Cure Blossom, she becomes a brave heroine who often delivers speeches showing her support for the victims of the Desert Apostles. Tsubomi is a friendly girl who gets along well with almost everyone as she gradually overcomes her shyness. She is willing to listen to and help others with their problems and she willingly accepts becoming a Precure in order to protect people from the Desert Apostles. Erika and Tsubomi become inseparable friends after the latter saves the former from the Apostles and the two of them work together to stop them. Tsubomi is the daughter of flower sellers and has a strong interest in flowers. She often uses the 'language of flowers' to describe the events of an episode. Her love of flowers is not the only thing she shares with her family. She learns that her beloved grandmother Kaoruko was a Precure in her youth. Kaoruko acts as a mentor to Tsubomi and Erika, giving the two of them advice on how to handle their problems. Like Erika, she also likes fashion and designing clothes and she joins Erika's Fashion Club. Tsubomi is also a romantic girl and likes hearing about sweet love stories. She has a crush on Myoudounin Itsuki and she is devastated once she finds out Itsuki is a girl. Even after learning the truth, she still finds Itsuki to be rather attractive.
