She is one of the main characters of Akiba_Maid_Sensou and encapsulates said series' tone: although she makes a living as a maid, she acts more like a stoic and tough character from a yakuza crime story, which is the main source of comedy her character provides. She is the oldest of the series' main cast and the oldest member at Oinky Doink Cafe, being a 35 year old woman, and accordingly has a deeper and more mature voice. Although she introduces herself as a novice maid, her job at Oinky Doink isn't actually the first time she's been a maid. She had already been a maid over a decade ago, but the death of her former boss cut that role short. She has only recently resumed her job as a maid for reasons she doesn't share with others. Because of this, she is well-versed in how the maid underworld works, and is the most skilled fighter out of the main cast. She is perpetually stoic and serious, even when she's supposed to be doing fanservice for her customers, and comes across as intimidating to newcomer Wahira Nagomi. However, Ranko has a strong sense of loyalty and will not stand for her coworkers being belittled or disrespected. She is voiced by Satou_Rina who's also the oldest and most experienced seiyuu of the main cast.
