She was originally designed to play the rhythm game osu! In 2022, Neuro was given an avatar, designed by Kani_Biimu, who based her design off of one of Kani's original characters Momose Hiyori. Neuro debuted as an indie_virtual_youtuber on December 19, 2022 with very long debut stream that lasted for 9 hours and featured her performing her original purpose, playing osu! Like most vtubers, her content consists of video game playthroughs, free chat streams, and karaoke. However, Neuro is unique amongst vtubers in actually being an AI as opposed to a person using an animated avatar. Her voice is performed by a Text to Speech program, so she always speaks in a calm, polite tone. As an AI, she bases her dialogue off of past human interactions and what people teach her to say. This has the result of causing Neuro to develop an unpredictable and eccentric streamer persona, often suddenly switching from passably natural human responses to bizarre non-sequitur stream of consciousness ramblings.
