He is one of the main characters of Spy_x_Family and the first one to be introduced. Twilight is the top spy of Westalis, a master at infiltration, deception, and combat. As his work requires him to maintain convincing covers, he has mastered a wide variety of skills such as cooking, social interaction with elites, etc. However, when he's not maintaining a persona, Twilight is serious and aloof. He is so focused on his work that he has repressed his feelings, speaking with his coworkers in a strictly professional manner. Thanks to his serious personality, he often acts as the straight man to the myriad comedic characters of the series, and especially to his newfound wife and daughter. Twilight gets his toughest job yet when he is assigned to get close to Desmond Donovan, which he must do by creating a fake family. Twilight creates a persona named Loid Forger (ロイド・フォージャー), a psychiatrist and a loving single father to Anya, who he actually adopted from orphanage. Twilight marries Yor Briar to complete his persona and get Anya into Eden Academy, where Desmond's son attends. Twilight is experienced in all aspects of spy work, but is new to fatherhood, and often struggles to raise Anya properly. Nevertheless, Anya deeply loves her newfound father, who is the first person she has formed a strong emotional bond with. Twilight often rationalizes his actions as being for the mission, but as he spends time with his fake family, his humanity and compassion steadily resurface, reminding him why he chose to be a spy in the first place, and muddying the distinction between Loid and Twilight.
