She becomes troubled by her career as an idol singer because she fears that she has lost sight of who she really is. She is afraid that people only like her idol singer persona Risette and not the real her. For this reason, she decides to quit being an idol singer and returns to Inaba enrolling as a student. She is initially rather depressed over her situation, but thanks to Yuu and his friends, Rise gradually comes to terms with herself becoming much happier and ends up as a enemy scanner. She also learns through her social link that her Risette persona is actually a part of her. Her Persona is Himiko. She functions as a mission control for her friends and, therefore, generally does not participate in fighting. However, she will be a playable fighter for the first time in Persona 4 Ultimax. She is voiced by Kugimiya_Rie, but unlike a lot of roles Kugimiya Rie is famous for, Rise is openly affectionate towards her love interest Yuu and friendly in personality even if the player chooses not to date her.
