She first appeared in Street_Fighter_Zero_2 AKA Street Fighter Alpha 2, where she had begun to participate in street fighting after watching Ryuu_(Street_Fighter) win the first World Warrior tournament. She makes a cameo appearance in the game Shiritsu_Justice_Gakuen LEGION OF HEROES from the team fighting series Justice_Gakuen (AKA Rival Schools outside Japan), where she is a childhood friend of both Wakaba_Hinata and Ayuhara_Natsu "She is a Japanese schoolgirl who has an intense fascination with Ryuu. She has managed to copy and learn some of Ryuu's techniques but really wants him to teach her personally. She is the fourth female fighter in the series (after Chun-Li, Cammy_White, and Rose_(street_fighter)). She has a friend named Chitose_Kei, who attends the same high school and occasionally goes along with Sakura on her street fight tour." She also has a younger brother, Kasugano_Tsukushi, who is a minor non-playable character.
