His real name is Moriguchi Tetsuya. He chose Goblin as pen name because he describes himself as "short and ugly". As a matter of fact, most of the afterwords for his books have a very negative and masochistic tone to them. This also reflects in his works which are known for their, even for the genre, extremely derogatory depiction of women. According to himself this stems from the fact that he was abused by his sister as a child. As of 2008 he lives off welfare.
