Tag refers to images produced by this animation studio.

It was founded on September 1, 1975 by ex-Mushi Productions employee Wakao Hiroshi. The studio spend most of the next few decades doing sub-contracting work for more prominent animation studios. However, this changed in 2004 when production manager and producer Kubota Mitsuhoshi saw The Soultaker and Cossette no Shouzo, both of which were directed by Shinbo Akiyuki. Kubota was fascinated with Shinbo's work on both anime and brought Shinbo to the studio to create a distinctive aesthetic for the studio. Shinbo, along with his coworkers Oonuma Shin and Oishi Tatsuya, created many of the trademarks the studio became known for from then on and directed the studio's most successful anime productions such as the Monogatari_(Series) and Mahou_Shoujo_Madoka_Magica. After Shinbo's hiring, the studio's anime became known for featuring highly stylized visuals, which were often created by incorporating techniques from outside of traditional animation or mixing mediums like placing photos of real life objects alongside the anime characters. Their idiosyncratic visual style is used both for comedy and for symbolism. The studio is known for favoring a specific looking_at_viewer type shot where the characters will tilt their head while looking at the 'camera.'
