Now Viewing: resident_evil_the_mercenaries_3dTag type: General A 2011 third person shooter non-canon spinoff of Resident Evil. It was released for the Nintendo 3DS. It was a test run for Resident Evil Revelations which uses the same engine as this game. The game also included a demo of Revelations, which had a few differences from the final product. It takes the popular mercenaries mini game from Resident Evil 4 and 5 and builds an entire game around it. It incorporates arenas from those games and features most of the popular characters of the series as playable characters.
