For the past couple of days some of the images I uploaded have been missing and I wanted to know if this is related to some sort work being done on the site.

Were they deleted?

That's what I thought at first but then I checked my tag edits and iqdb and they're still on the site. For example this image is one that I've uploaded but it doesn't show up in searches or under my images.

TiTaNz had this same problem earlier. I've alerted lozer of the issue.

Okay so it's not just me. There ran into a couple of images that didn't appear in a character tag search. When I deleted the particular character tag, saved the removal and then re-added the tag, it re-appears under the tag search. This happened with a couple of character tags where i could notice it was missing, even though the pics were in my favorites. But it seems to only affect certain pics with the character tag.

I'm going to remove the tiffa_adill tag, then re-add it to see if it resolves it like it did with the two pics I dealt with.

EDIT: I've just re-added the tiffa_adill so give it a few minutes for the image to appear in the results, that's if this works like it did for me.

I also would notice that the "missing" images that don't appear are still part of the tag count.

EDIT 2: the missing image now appears as it should.

This seems to only affect a image's appearance on the main imageboard, if the affected image is in your favorites, it will still be seen.

Maybe I just missed the memo, but I can't find many images that I used to on here before. If i search gif, there are only 2 images, when it says there are 4000+ on the tags bar on the left. Any idea what's going on?

Yes, you missed the memo. "gif" has been moved to "animated" and "animated_gif" or "animated_png"

Since "gif" was a rather large tag, it isn't odd to assume that 4000+ images tagged with it have been deleted. That's the usual reason why higher numbers appear in a tag's count than what actually appear in searches.

I'll be correcting those "gif" tagged images shortly.

I suspect this happened to a few of my images as well.

I came back to redownload some of my gifs but couldn't find some of them. (This one image of a girl throwing a little toddler into the street in front of a vehicle... there's no guro or anything I swear)

And apparently I can only account for about 130 of my uploads.

I've uploaded more than 150 and I really doubt I've had 20 deletions.


That or the messages informing me of some deletions never made it to me.
