You know guys, when you upload something from pixiv, please could you PLEASE, not put the link to the direct view of the frickin picture, for example:

i1.pixiv.net/img35/img/cleome-red/15596888_big_p19.jpg

All you get is the annoying 404 error, even if the image is still there, and plus, you cant really search for the artists name source on pixiv that easy you know, could you please do it like this:

www.pixiv.net/member_illu...um&illust_id=25041809

Like you should, look the other way around may work for that other place, but it doesn't work here.

Yes, you're right, the source links on images should be post page links instead of direct image links, however...

A lot of the posts that come in with a direct image link come in from Danbooru. Danbooru's system automatically converts direct image links to post page links in-page, however the direct image link is what stays in their system in order to enable various systems of theirs that work on them. This issue has been known for a long time, and will likely be fixed in a future version of Gelbooru, but currently there is no way to fix this.

If you see any specific users who use the direct image link in their source links, please send them a PM telling them to use the post page link. If you must, include a link to this thread and use me as an official reference.

I'm not sure the example image you gave and the artist profile page are even the same image.... Just saying.

They aren't. The pixiv post ID should appear in the image's filename. I think he was just throwing random examples of each type of link.
