Just checked new design on phone. I remeber that it was changed in last spring, now it become even worse. Images became like squares, and I can see only 4 images without scrolling. And it's not a small versions of original pictures, but only pieces, and it's all so blurry.

Is there a desktop version, id like to see the preview pics display whole pictures on a page.

Yes. Your browser should allow you to request the destop site.

I don't like the square thumbnails. I can't see the entire picture until I click on an image. Will there be a way to toggle back to the old image layout?

No. This change was made because of the way Google ranks sites for mobile usability, so the change will most likely be permanent. I would recommend having your browser request the desktop version of the site.

Is this normal to have a black background instead of grey on the search pages with dark mode? Contrast is too high, it's uncomfortable for eyes. Sorry if I post on the wrong thread.

Desktop user here. Please add an option to put the tags back in the left column instead of on the top. Being forced to scroll down further on each page is extremely annoying.

The tags still appear on the left for me. Try widening your browser window so it stops triggering the adaptive layout.

Is that really okay? Previews on my phone still looks very bad. I don't understand what's going on most pics. Will it be fixed later, or there's something wrong on my side? Something similar happened with previous design change (on spring i guess), and blurry previews were temporary, later they became much better. I'm using Mozilla on phone.

Thumbnails have been regenerated, and Cloudflare cache is cleared, there should be some improvement, however, I'm still trying to find a way to display thumbnails in a nicer way.

What about when using the desktop version while screen splitting that forces it into its pseudo mobile mode?

Ignore the crap on the right, irrelevant.

That isn't pseudo-mobile, it is literally the mobile site. We use an adaptive layout. Whether it displays as mobile or desktop is based on the size of your browser viewport. That gap where it looks like another column of thumbnails could fit is a known issue.

The missing set of thumbnails is because it's just a bit too small of a space for them to display in it. Zapdos requested the thumbnail change, so there are always the same amount on each row.
