Yes, but the whole reason why the desktop site option exists is to show you more information on the screen...whereas the mobile site version is supposed to be more clean and efficient.

I hate the search bar and blue banner that takes up the top quarter of the screen at all times and is always there even if you scroll down.

I dunno, the desktop site is considerably more efficient for me on all devices. Everything I could possibly need is visible at a glance, and I can pinch zoom in to see something up close if I need to on mobile.

On desktop, I think the "previous/next" bar and the "Pool Relationships" should be above the picture, as before. It's more accessible this way. When I navigate between the pictures, I don't want to have to scroll down each time to reach the previous/next buttons. Also, when the picture belongs to one pool only, there isn't the name of the pool anymore, why remove something useful?

Even setting "Always View Original" doesn't actually load the original quality, either. If the picture is larger than the window, you still have to "Click here to expand image". Do not like. At least saving the image still saves at original quality...

It does load the original, it fits it inside your viewport. Expanding it will break it out of those boundings.

The point is, the old UI was damn near perfect, being able to see the entire picture unobstructed while having the tags available from a dropable menu was fantastic. Now we either have to lose functionalities to compensate, do nothing at all and get bogged down, or use desktop mode, and lose the ease of use and efficiency of mobile browsing.

Use your arrow keys in the meantime.

Agreed. Every day is a new terrible "feature" added to mobole, like the black bar with the expand image/edit tags/favorite etc buttons that take up a 5th of the screen, in addition to the search bar that now always takes up a 5th of the screen. Honestly, if they're not gonna revert mobile back to how it was, they may as well delete it and force phones to the desktop version.

... am I the only one around here who's not finding the mobile version of the site that bad? At least from a personal experience.

I mean, don't get me wrong, there's always room for improvement, but... is it really as terrible as people are depicting it on this post?
I'm glad to see people so passionate on the matter, because they mean they care!
... but my mind can't stop thinking "First World problems".
