Antisocial monster here. I disabled comments ages ago, and I feel that my browsing experience improved significantly for it.

Unless they've changed it since then I never wanted to disable the comments because it (at the time) disabled a full third of the viewing functionality of the site by removing the option to view the "comments" page. I haven't changed it back since then so idk if thats still the case.

Neither have I. If I get sick of certain comments, I just turn off Display All Content.
Update: Apparently we turned off logged in Anonymous commenting. Why do we suddenly have to be accountable for our actions?
