Gelbooru is an English-language gallery for Japanese-themed art/media.
Anything not made by a Japanese artist is technically not allowed by our Terms of Service.
The staff may allow exceptions for quality work by non-Japanese artists featuring Japanese characters, copyrights or done in a Japanese style but if the work is poor or there is noting Japanese about it we may delete it on site. The staff do not have to give exceptions either so your best bet is to only post quality work by Japanese artist to avoid having your post deleted for that reason.
Our staff here is small too so many older posts that don't belong may get missed. See forum #653 for an explanation to this argument.
