Normal users of this site don't read wikis. They opened this website to put hentai in it or masturbate to it.

Ouch.

"General", "Safe (sensitive)", "Questionable", are still misleading and dodgy terms.

Ya, I agree with this. I don't mind adding another step, but I think the terms are not really telling much and can be a bit confusing. Like without already knowing how the new terms are used here, I certainly wouldn't have thought of safe non-erotic posts when I read the term "General". Sensitive and Questionable both sounds like covering the same and also somewhat subjective, I think these terms doesn't convey the difference and kind of content you can expect by them much.
I would've left "Safe" as what we now have for "General" as that term should be pretty clear and literally comes from "safe for work" so things you can look at publicly. Then have a rating for mild ecchi content (suggestive poses, swimsuits ect.), a rating for heavy ecchi content (visible breasts, implied sexual actions, highly sexualized bodies ect.) and keep explicit as we have it right now for anything straight up intercourse, showing genitilia ect.

Always nice to see Gelbooru moving closer to the will of our lord and savior, Jesus Christ.
Maybe next we can get a "Christian" rating.

general and sensitive are basically exactly the same thing, with nearly exactly the same results but different tags, forcing you to either lose out on most of the results if you only search for one, or have to blacklist both questionable and explicit to get what you want

sensitive should just not exist, throw everything that was safe into general and restrict it a bit more to lower the amount of borderline in it instead of a shitty bandaid that doesn't work and only makes shit worse

exactly what he said. lots of the time safe/questionable tags on booru were misusen - and looking for particular art based on these criteria resulted in pretty much nothing of value. plenty of times same situation happened with questionable/explicit, of all things.
now we have two more tags with "safe" trashed.

imo pieces imported from danbooru should be treated with tag-siblings, redirecting both general and sensitive to good ol' safe.
at this moment this autistic change benefits fringe minority of coomers doing coomer things at work instead of actual work.

I actually think adding this new rating was a smart idea, the redistribution was not. The old safe rating should have been moved general instead, and since mass editing is a thing (I remember a bunch of posts with the pussy tag all being rerated to explicit), mass rerate all posts with any swimsuit tag, or ass focus/breast focus, or any other new requirements for the rating.

Mabey they should have went with: safe, semi safe, semi explicit, explicit for the leeser intelligence among the users.

Sorry starking, but I think naming the ratings semi safe or semi explicit would be even more confusing for lower intelligence users. The names are fine, my only problem is that the old safe rating went to sensitive instead of general when it would be easy to use the mass tag edit function I'm 90% sure exists but only for mods to change the easiest general posts to sensitive. I often find that my general uploads have less to tag than my uploads of other ratings.
