Seriously? Why do we have this, I'm tired of getting the captcha 100% correct when EDITING TAGS only for it to fail for some reason. Why do we have this? There's no reason to have it. I'm tired of this as a whole.

I think it stops if you have a certain level on your profile ? At least it doesn't show to me… or after editing a while idk

I agree with you and share your annoyance, but I also trust they are there for a good reason. It probably helps greatly from spam, bots, and mistagging trolls.

I don't know why it's asking you captcha when editing tags though, because it doesn't do it for me.

I think you level up by posting more in the forums, uploading more images, and making more comments. Of course these have to be within the rules and be authentic comments, not just spam comments.

You can get rid of recaptcha in a few ways.

Level up: Comment more on posts, don't break the rules.
Become a Gardener forum #1706: Tag a lot and do it well. (I think you can become one)
Buy an ad code: If you have 12 bucks you can buy an ad code, you support the site and get rid of recaptcha, for a year. And have a few extra perks.

I do have an ad code, I think is worth it, if you tag a lot.

The very reason you don't see bots going around editing tags is because of the reCAPTCHA. Before we added it, it was a very big problem.

each time i see a new thread about the recaptcha being annoying I believe we are getting closer to getting yet another sticky thread on main nobody will ever click on
