As stupid and coomer as it sounds, it became really popular mainly because of how it was constructed, such as the girls thinking they are in love with the user because of a malfunction, so both Ben and the girls think it is meant to summon heros, on the other hand Azmuth, the perviest pimp in 3 galaxies (maybe 5), made it thanks to a suggestion from Max, and Vilgax wants it to mix his people with other aliens in order to create the strongest army of hybrid aliens in the entire universe.

It exploded in spanish twitter (and a bit in brazil twitter afaik), and even got a viral thread on chan lmao.

Also, the name Chaquetrix comes from "Chaqueta" which is slang for masturbation.

Honestly sounds quite cringe, but also very typical. As much as I like lewds in general, I do think our insistence on lewding virtually everything from our childhoods and trying to create the "next Bowsette" is a bit of a sign of coomer brainrot seeping through the matrix.
