I've just noticed that Saucenao doesn't have anything from Pixiv since sometime in November 2023 in its database, which is super weird because the site's status update says its Pixiv indexing is working and even has a graph showing its progress (though I honestly don't understand that graph). You can still find the pixiv source on SauceNAO if somebody posted the image on here or Danbooru, but not if it is only available on Pixiv. I've emailed the site's owner to let them know that nothing from Pixiv from the past three months has been indexed, but if anybody here works directly with Saucenao I'd recommend letting the owner (Xamayon I believe) know in case my mail didn't go through.

This is pretty inconvenient for using Gelbooru. Often, since my life is so busy or Pixiv starts lagging, I save an image I plan to post here and then use SauceNAO to get the link later, and until SauceNAO's Pixiv indexing gets fixed that's not an option. Either that or I wade through 400 pages of favorites. I hope my mail went through to Saucenao's owner. Maybe SauceNAO's Pixiv indexing really is working but is super slow or delayed or something.

oh look,you're back...ok let's carry on...pixiv has gone to shambles since they enforced that stupid-ass policy a short while ago..first they stopped artists from linking their main accounts to the FANBOX directly,then a whole other snafus I can't truly describe..

but whatever that is,here's where the line got crossed and cut..I've been using kemono for viewing "paywall" contents for free,but since the policy affected this so diamond-hard,the site no longer worked like it used to..last updates are from september of last year,and no more as of today..we live in a world of anti this and anti that after all.

If the "stupid-ass policy" you're referring to was regarding the use of aggregating data, I thought that was only referring to Fanbox, not the free Pixiv site. I'm familiar with the kemono situation, and I was thinking SauceNAO's problem was the same, but I think this is something else. As you said, kemono stopped updating in September 2023, while SauceNAO was indexing Pixiv until November that year.

Plus, kemono acknowledges that the site is broken and it seems to be the only thing that people talk about that site for nowadays. Meanwhile, SauceNAO confusingly has a chart showing that it's indexing Pixiv currently, even though I'm not seeing any Pixiv results from November onward on SauceNAO, and nobody is talking about it.

all chan boards are pathetic beyond pathetic,last time I anonymously went to one of these using a dark web browser from a burner PC (or as I like to call them "battle stations" instead), no one says a thing about sauceNAO, despite it being present the whole time.
