It's a achievement by how much controversy RT has gone through and still kicking until yesterday.
Harassment, crunch, stealing shit from fans (which some of them got what they fucking deserved), unprofessionalism, not taking criticism, degenerate pandering, etc, etc.
RWBY is now known to be a shitfest with missed potential to be good.

RWBY always looked to me like a fake american anime, with a very cheap 3D cell shaded art style. That thing was blasphemous to me. So, I never got into it.

Can I have a more specific rundown on why Rooster Teeth was bad? Like what are some specific things in detail that would make their shutdown deserved?

All I know is RWBY tbh.

Despite all its major flaws, I still want to see how RWBY finishes, since apparently the show has a planned final season. Hopefully it gets picked back up and not cancelled forever.

Used to listen to the podcast while at the gym and watch the animated adventures. Once Bernie left, I kinda lost interest in listening and going to the gym.

Rooster Teeth immediately after Monty's unfortunate passing. Starting taking DEI or DIE money and it showed. Suddenly Yang and Blake like each other. I seriously don't think Monty would've wanted that.
As for the other parts of Rooster Teeth...
I got into RVB (Red vs Blue) really Late. I got into it because of Monty's contributions.
Later I discovered the little animated shorts. Which were genuinely funny and kinda timeless. At least the ones I saw.

Sometime before dropping RWBY after season 5.(I stopped watching it seriously, after season 3. But I bought seasons on dvd til season 5.) I suddenly kept hearing RoosterTeeth in the news for controversiessuch as office crunch, Bumblebee and leaving YouTube. As far as I can see. When the founders left. So did the soul, heart, reasoning and logic.

Lastly as big fan of Monty's RWBY. I can't help but think how spoiled all the people who talked bad about the first 3 seasons animation. Yall literally couldn't do better. Also as a 80s baby who grew up on Reboot and Transformers:BeastWars. Y'all really don't know what you're talking about. The animation was Great. It was really good for the time. For the few people that were involved. For what was put out, with such limited experience. It was Impressive. YouTube itself wouldn't have been able to handle 1080 p Animation back then. We were all just starting to adapt to seeing shows and videos in 240, 480 resolution. The show didn't need to be 4k. It just needed a solid enough story. Decent voice acting and music. And bad ass fight scenes the likes which no one has seen, outside of a few live action movies and Anime.

I challenge the people who love to trash the animation of RWBY. To:
1 Create an animation in any format and post it online. Then get a taste of your own criticism.
2 Watch cell shaded/cgi Anime or Cartoons from any time prior to 2004. Examples:Code Lyoko, Beast Wars: Reboot, The New Adventures of Johnny Quest, Zoids, Blue Submarine etc.

2. Why not just watch real anime.

Counter argument, when Ep. 1 will forever be your first impression to people, across MANY professional streaming platforms, and you've made the money and notoriety that your company has years later, would you not try to remaster at least the first ep?

Also, people outside of youtube and not privy are gonna see this on a random streaming platform and not know shit. lol

Like drop that alongside og Ep. 1 on platforms so people interested can see. :P

I want to blame Warner Bros. I still have memories of what they did to Atari after they bought it. They put people in charge who knew nothing about video games and treated their best/most important employees like pee-ons. Of course now we have the woke movement and that doesn't help.

The entire first two seasons got remastered by SHAFT, with a lot of the filler removed as well.
