good grief,we lost our true pillar of anime culture...now how would Sand Land's anime adaptation go without him?
the anime universe and community will never be the same without him.

oh if only I have all 7 of them dragon balls, and, make an immortality wish, but alas,I can't find the remaining 6.

I remember this guy being the definition of how to shōnen anime, and it shaped the anime universe that we have today.

you'll be truly missed,never to be forgotten/forsaken.

thanks for everything. see you on the other side, our fellow award-winning god-tier illustrator, series creator...
the anime community griefs.

this really came out of nowhere. His involvement in video games and anime won't be forgotten.

I remember when he was making Dr. Slump, he didn't like drawing Arale's glasses because it was too much work. But he'd hear from fans who wore glasses really appreciated it, so he kept it in

Dude I can't even put into words how insane this is. It's such big news I actually felt the need to call up friends and family about it.

I, like millions and millions of people in the world, have grew up on Dragon Ball. It was such a massive part of my childhood growing up, a massive influence on my early development years, and not to mention the countless of other media, artists, games, and movies it has inspired.

RIP Man. A true legend he was. He will go in history as one of the greatest influencers of this entire century.

Gonna binge watch everything DBZ for today and tomorrow to pay tribute.

This guy definitely was, if not still is, "Mr. Anime" himself in my book. Anime basically didn't exist in the west until Dragon Ball.

I have to know how it happened. Subdural hematoma? Was he in a car crash?

no..check this out.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Subdural_hematoma

it's like having an oil spill around the brain...and having blood collagelate, actively suffocating it is never a good sign.
