Why so many fucking add ons? Did Sega really need all that shit leeching on their Genesis? Their poor Genesis is all like "Oh please God get this shit off of me!" It's like getting gangraped. Both of its slots are getting fucked at the same time.

This was a recognized problem, for people who actually bought both addons, they released a specialized power-strip, widely spaced so you can fit adapters next to each other without problems, it was also grounded, had a powerswitch, 5 sockets so you can hook up your Genesis + addons, your TV and then one to spare (it also SEGA in blue embossed letters between the sockets, looked slick).

The Sega CD was the only addon which was worth it, since it had an actual library of games to pick from, some which were quite good. There's little reason to get the 32X, unless you really like Afterburner, it had an arcade perfect port of that.

This is a basic power strip. Every single store sells these. These are common. So I plug in my fucking power strip. In goes the Genesis, the Sega CD... Bullshit. What a load of fucking bullshit. How did they fuck this up so badly? I can't even plug them in the other way because it doesn't fit. Why can I only plug in two power adapters? Why can't these go sideways? Better yet, why the hell do they have these box things? Why can't it just be like this? (Normal plug) Even the Atari 5200 with its huge-ass box, it still ends with a normal plug. You know what, that really pisses me off. I even have a camera, which I just bought this year, and it has a box like that. We live in the year 2007, and they can't figure out that shit like that takes up too much room? These fucking things should be banned. Have these! (Normal plug) Not these! (Box plug)

Well, you can always buy third-party adapters that don’t use wall warts, which place the bulky part further down the line, a lot like the Gamecube’s included adapter. Not that it’s worth it for the 32X, of course. Still kind of surprised btw that Nintendo even entertained the idea of a CD-ROM add-on; they should have learned their lesson from the Famicom Disk System.

…oh, right, or even an ordinary extension cord. That will usually do.
