You know, Kii, even setting aside your questionable taste in relatives:

1.) At this point, Tomoki would probably care less whether his sister got all of your attention. He'd probably encourage it, even.

2.) He's a popular kid at school and is good enough at soccer to get noticed at other high schools. With a severe cold, he was able to leap to action and kick his sister from a sitting position after she poured hot porridge on him.

I'm just saying, there's a better way to go about this.
