Prolly because it's part of the evolution of taste. Blue skin was so yesterday. Now it's all about the tanned skin because when they become corrupted, they become bitch gyarus. So it's pretty obvious. And not everyone likes blue, purple, red, or pigmented skin color that is usually associated with demons/devil chars. But even demons, devils, succubus, etc, nowadays they are all being drawn to be more closer to actual human beings, usually kemonomimi (with tail) humans or just full straight on human. Because that's where the appeal is now. Especially in girls. And then the tanned gyaru skin fetish is rising too.
