No, actually Trinity is a clutz and a ditz from what I remember she actually had a crush (still do?) on Terumi. The scene actually shows him having knocked Terumi over so that they ended up in this position just in time for the two Mercury sisters to walk in on them. This was back when Terumi was an anti hero and fought the black beast.
