This is from the past version of her when she was a street prostitute. There was a flashback scene of Revy in her prostitute days in the OVA movie as well as some references to her also being an S&M mistress/BDSM pay by the hour girl. Appearently Hiroe, the official author of Black Lagoon also "approves" of some (NOT ALL) of Azasuke's porn of Revy. By approve I mean he accepts them as things that happened in (or as references) the Black Lagoon's canon. I haven't seen the posts of himself saying they were canonized. It the same exact images and conversations appear on various Black Lagoon Doujin pages, as well as non-porn websites when discussing Revy's past. You can take this with a grain of salt but there are actually a lot of talk about this as if he truly did officially approve of them somewhere. Maybe he did, maybe he didn't. Azasuke and the author have had some calloboratons in the past so it would make some sense. The author himself has also made some sexy images of Revy in questionable outfits, making poses or performing actions that she would not do in the manga. Apparently this is one of the images he approved of. This particular image is fine because to us it's nice porn of prostitute Revy while also being a canon reference to her past hardship. Then there's other specific images by Azasuke that he approves that just seem like random porn and serve no purpose. One example of this would some of the gangrape images that he apparently approves of are considered canon. There were references that she may or may not have been raped at some point, but nothing of this magnitude that he apparently approved of. He has, again, apparently chosen to canonize the various different gangrape images of adult Revy. I by that she may have gotten raped sometime before meeting Rock but not this many times that we're supposed to believe. It really just seems like the author is a fan of images and enjoys his pornographic content so he just decided to give a nod to okay for the plot images like this. Then he got carried away with his fetishes and started giving nods the rest of the stuff that shouldn't have gotten them. It just seems like fetish pandering. The author himself has also drawn Revy in Dominatrix, in bondage, wearing a strapon, doming some giant fat guy, and other scenarios alike. This itself was also fine because all it did was reference her past work. He even nodded to the tame S&M/BDSM images that Azasuke made, which made sense as well. But as stated before, he appearently started going overboard again and approved of more questionable BDSM/S&M images. Here are some of the images that were apparently plot approved of. The tame S&M ones will be mixed in with the graphic ones and the rape images. You can tell which are supposed to be from her BDSM/S&M past.

You dont have to believe me but a large portion of the community accepts this as true and claims It did happen somewhere. I just can't find the source myself. I would easily shrug it off as headcanon myself if it wasn't for the many things pointing at the possibility of it being true.
