I loved that Cassandra was fun and wasn’t above fighting dirty. She was like Cassie Cage but less foul mouthed and also first. Not sure why she was replaced with Sophitia’s kids when she herself felt like a next generation character in place of her but nah, Sophitia is just dead now and Cassandra is missing so we can have these charming characters. Yay. Do you love them yet?

I'm not Anon 1, But I am personally certainly still bitter about that. Soul Calibur 5 is literally the only Soul Cal game i skipped due to its roster..

As much as I disliked the removal of classic fan-favorite characters in SCV I have to say Pyrrha and Pyrrha Ω have actually managed to dethrone Sophitia as my all time favorite main, not just in Soul Calibur but in the entirety of the 3D fighting genre. BB Hood/ Bulleta still gets my number one slot out of all fighting games (spanning both 2D & 3D), but Pyrrha is definitely a close second. And yes, I am fully aware of how much fan outcry there was over her in particular, not merely because she replaced Sophitia, but also due to her general helplessness/ apologetic demeanor. Honestly, I cannot get enough of her personality, but I fully understand where the criticisms are coming from. Still hoping for her to join the SCVI roster along with Patroklos via DLC sometime in the future.

I haven't played much fighting games, but I do love how this series has a roster where more than half the women will bust you in the balls. As of SCVI; even Amy joined them with a brutal snap kick to the nuts which I think she has lacked in previous entries.
