I think this is the first piece of art I've seen where Morrigan looks lovey dovy with someone (besides her sister) instead of just lust/hunger crazed sex.

Morrigan doesn't have a sister.
If you're talking about Lillith, then she is only a part (1/3 to be more precise) of Morrigan's soul that was separated from Morrigan when she was a child (because she was too powerful), but this part gained it's own consciousness. Jedah later found that part of the soul and gave it a physical body and that's Lillith.

I am aware, but it's just easier to call her Morrigan's sister. I guess counterpart could work as well.
