Always found it interesting Barugon had two extreme temperature attacks but on opposite ends of the spectrum. Also interesting seeing how similar but different he is to Gamera. Both have high temperature attacks but then he also has a low temperature attack to counter Gamera's fire/plasma. Gamera has a stomach that acts like a furnace but Barugon's has one that acts like a freezer. Both eat carbon but where as Gamera eats coal among other things to fuel his fire, Barugon eats diamond to add to the prisms on his back.
Gyoas makes the prefect arch-nemesis but Barugon makes the prefect foil if not rival to Gamera. The one other monster I feel is the prefect foil to Gamera is Legion.
