Unless you have a fetish for it, the death part is what makes vore morally unappealing to most. ;o
I think a theory that gets around that little knack is good for people who like things about vore but feel uncomfortable masturbating to the death of someone
( fantasy or not, that is a bit morbid even by today's standards :x )
Let alone guru... (I honestly wouldn't feel comfortable being with someone who gets off on the idea of ripping my guts out xP)

Birdos shoot eggs, as far as I recall. Perhaps this is the only way birdos can reproduce? By first swallowing a victim, creating an eggshell around them inside their stomach/womb and then ejecting them again?

I agree, anon6. I don't understand why some people seem to be infatuated with the idea of somebody being eaten, or having gore colored glasses (similar but not the same as rose colored glasses, and maybe I made that term up, which makes me the coolest) on anything. If it turns them on so much, why don't they just go out a have somebody cut them, or play with a lion or something in the hopes that they'd get eaten (devoured; vore is only used when it comes with a prefix (like carnivore) or a suffix (voracious). Why do people try to use vore as a standalone? Maybe they need to take some English classes, or maybe they don't really speak English at all (i.e. Engrish = lol)). Seriously, these kinds of things can only be traced back to some kind of antisocial disorder, or something. Why can't they just be happy with sex, or nudity, instead of requiring gore, violence, death, or someone being eaten. I don't understand why people point to sex as being something that should be forbidden (i.e. censoring, etc.), and I don't think violence should be banned either. Believe me, as a hardcore gamer (I've been playing since 1994, way back when we only had the NES), I've been exposed to all kinds of pretty violent content (since the year 2007 when I got Resident Evil 4 (Great game btw), but even the execution scenes in that game (or even Dead Space for that matter) don't fill me with the pure feeling of disgust (you know, the kind of dread that you're filled with when you feel that you're going to throw-up, and I mean really through up, as if you felt like you were suffocating/short of breath, sweating, and going to die) that fills my mind when I see a depiction of death, gore, or human devouring, and especially when one attempts to depict it in a sexual manner. What I'm getting at is that in order to actually enjoy things like guro, vore, or death, you must have a serious psychological problem and it's only a matter of time before you snap. I suggest that you see a psychiatrist immediately.
